"WHO WAS"
My interpretation of The Pink Floyd song "Dogs" My interpretation shows the classes of people, from corrupt politicians and corrupt lawyers to businessmen and people seeking riches, to the so-called class of sheep who do the work and pay the price. There are many interpretations of this song, but this is mine in illustrated form. This painting will be added to the other three Pink Floyd inspired paintings that I have created.

"Conflicts of Life"
inspired by the Pink Floyd song "Wish You Were Here"
24" x 36" acrylic on stretched camvas
On Friday June 3, 2016 at 8:00 I will be having an art exhibit at the Schroeder Center for the Arts in Ottawa Ohio.
The show will be featuring at least 14 works of art that I have painted this year including the painting "Conflicts of Life"
The paintings range in size from 18" x 24" up to 24" x 36" and they range in subjects from my "Songshadow" series, "Morelscape" series to my "Virtue and Vice" series.
I will be spending the next 14 days in a tent, in a woods in northern Michigan creating the final 2 paintings and hunting for the elusive morel mushroom.
This is a quick photo of my latest painting in progress entitled "Creature Classics"
It is an association painting for my Song Shadow series and some of the associations are from songs such as "When Doves Cry", "Turdy Point Buck", "Cat Scratch Fever", "Ride The Tiger", "Wild Horses" and when finished will have 60 song associations.
I hope to finish the painting later this week.

"Don't Fly Away"
"Enrich your life from the disappointments of your past"
When a person experiences disappointment in their life they can either run away from those lessons or learn from them. I believe that you should drink from the tearful nectar and enrich your existence. You stay and become a better being, enlightened and ready for a new day that is dawning.
